Get your shi—WORK— done!!
As I have observed lately, I’ve been productive and loves progress but I have this habit of stopping it and not finishing it until I realize that the following day will be the deadline of my work.
So I decided to make a few ‘work reminders’ and I kept it to myself and tried my best to follow them and guess what? It did helped me finish my work, ahead of time, and right now I am willing to share my Work Reminders to you. Don’t worry they’re just simple. ;)
1. MAKE A TO-DO LIST AND FOLLOW THEM.
Even though our work is not that many, we should do them in order. For me, it helps to have a to-do list. I have a soft and hard copy of my to-do list so that I will reminded of what I will do and when I finish making them, I follow them. I do everything work-by-work. Its effective. Finish the first one first and if some conflicts came in, jump to the next one and when you finish that work, go back to the first one. Its really effective, go give it a try!
2. UNPLUG FROM THE SOCIAL MEDIA.
I know this is hard but you have to try it. Unplug first from your FB and Twitter and other social sites while you are working. Its good because you can focus on your work more and try your best not to check them after you have done your first work. Check them again when you are totally done with ALL of your works. This is a practice of self-discipline. You can do it!
Oh and btw, you should only open them when necessary. :)
3. LISTEN TO ANY RELAXING MUSIC
I’ve been listening to some Norah Jones lately and even when I’m working I listen to her. Her voice soothes down my mood.
Hottie John Mayer!! Yes, listening to him makes me wanna work more. Super relaxing voice!
Anyway, it actually depends on you which songs you will listen to when you are working or if you’re not comfortable listening to music while working its still fine. For me, listening to music while working keeps me awake and focused on what I’m doing.
4. FINISH EVERYTHING ON TIME.
Time can be your friend and enemy at the same time so treasure it. (what?!) Just.. we all know that we can’t take back time so do all the tasks that you need to do so that you’ll avoid cramming.
Also, you can save time for your other activities like exercising, watching a tv series, practicing a dance or song, etc.
So there are my tips! I hope this helps. Oh, you can actually reward yourself upon the time you finished all your tasks. You can go back to stalking someone on the social media or watch some stuff.
I rewarded myself by blogging this tips and I’m catching up on Game of Thrones! Yeeeah! Daenarys Targaryen <3
Sometimes we have to step out of our comfort zones to see what God really has in store for us. Step with faith.
